Cloud Library has a large selection of eBooks and audiobooks available to checkout. Use your computer, Kindle, iPad, Nook or other device to read and listen. For more help with eBooks visit Brownwood Library's eBook page or bring your device by the library.

SimplyE combines the Brownwood Library's extensive eBook collection (also available from CloudLibrary) with a collection of 1200+ books from the Texas State Library. Although not currently compatible with Kindle or audiobooks, we recommend this for those with all other eReaders. To use, go to your app store, download the SimplyE app, choose Brownwood Library and put in your library card number. Biblioboard books were purchased for patrons of all of the libraries in Texas, for the purpose of expanding the SimplyE app. If you use and enjoy the SimplyE app, you won't find anything new here. If you prefer to browse on your computer or another way, you'll find a great selection from the E-Read Texas Unlimited Collection, including popular non-fiction such as travel, nutrition and health, and gardening, along with adult and young adult fiction. eBooks at Ebscohost is a collection of primarily non-fiction eBooks for children and adults. Some of the subjects are a little obscure, which is actually a good thing. If you are researching a topic that we do not have a physical book for, there is a good chance we may have a book on this topic. Great place to look for non-fiction topics!
